First Annual FEF Gala 2015

 The Freeport Educational Foundation’s (FEF) first fundraiser gala resulted in more than $35,000 raised for the funding of innovative educational programs for Freeport Public School District students.
 

The gala, which was held at Coral House in Baldwin, was attended by more than 350 members of the Freeport community, including the district’s Board of Education, administrators, faculty members, staff, business leaders and community residents, as well as local elected officials. The program featured a Salute to the Colors by the JROTC, performances by the Dodd Middle School Vocal Tapestry, Freeport alumni, Freeport High School’s jazz ensemble, and remarks by members of the FEF Board of Directors. The evening culminated with a raffle of various prizes, a Chinese auction and a live auction.
